CARGURU is a car sharing service. The price for use includes absolutely all costs, including fuel, parking charge and insurance. All operations, including registration, opening and closing of the car are made via our mobile application.

Firs of all, absolutely all costs associated with the use of the car are already included in the tariff. The customer pays only for the time when he used the car. there are no hidden costs, deposits and over-payments!

Secondly, all operations, including registration, opening and closing of the car are made via our mobile application. The user does not have to go to the company’s office to sign a contract, take the car keys and return them later at an agreed place. Our clients can take the vehicle exactly in the time when they actually need to and use it as long as they want to, and leave it wherever it is convenient for them.

And finally, our clients can rent a car for a short period of time — even for 5 minutes! After all, if a client needs a car only for a short period, then why would he overpay for the time when he is not using it?

Eventually, CARGURU is something more than just car rental. This is a fundamentally new perspective on mobility and an alternative to private transport.

There is a tendency in the world when large numbers of people abandon the idea of acquiring a personal car or sell their own cars after registration in a car sharing system. We can get the answer to the question why by connecting to the CARGURU system.

As a result, harmful emissions into the atmosphere are reduced, there is more free space in the city and fewer traffic jams. In addition, our hybrid cars make CARGURU even more friendly to the environment!

Each of our clients contributes to making the environment cleaner and using the available resources in a more efficient way. One of the effects of CARGURU is the reduction of the overall number of vehicles on the roads and at the parking lots, as a result the time spent on a trip from one point of the city to another is reduced. Now we can use the free space to make the city more attractive for housing.

Eventually, absolutely all city residents are on velvet, regardless of whether they are our customers or not!

Download our application. Then register in the system and wait for the confirmation. Next, find the right car and book it by using the application. You now have 20 free minutes during which the car you have selected will not be available for booking by other users. As soon as you are standing next to the car, make sure that the car is in good order. Then click “Start a trip” in the active booking window and the car will open. From this point of time, the rental will start. You will find the key, documents and fuel card inside the car. Insert the key into the ignition lock and start your trip. At the end of your trip, park the car in a place permitted by the rules of CARGURU. Make sure that the key and documents are left inside the car, you have not left your personal belongings in the interior, and the vehicle is in good order and clean. Step out of the car, close the door and click “End the trip” in the current rental window. The car will be closed. The amount for the use will be automatically withdrawn from your credit card.

2) Make picture of your driving licence.
3) Enter the code which has been sent to your phone number.
4) Wait for confirmation and activation of your account.
5) To complete the registration, you have to pay 1 euro. To do this, enter the details of your payment card and the amount will be withdrawn automatically.

Open the application. Find a suitable car on the map or in the list of available cars. Select it and click "Book" in the window that opens. You now have 20 free minutes during which nobody else can use your chosen car and you can get to it.

If you have not started the rental after the expiry of 20 minutes, the booking of your chosen car will be automatically cancelled. This means that if you still need the car but you have not had enough time to get to it, you can book it again. If you do not rebook it, then it will become available for booking by another user.

Once you have booked a car and got to it physically, make sure that the car is in good order. Then click “Start a trip” in the active booking window and the door will open. Get into the interior, close the door and configure everything you need for a comfortable ride. Take the key, start the engine and enjoy your trip!

Attention! You will find all documents necessary for road travelling in Latvia in the interior of the car.

Why do I need the stand-by mode? Imagine that you have arrived at a meeting or a shopping mall and want to make sure that your chosen car is not taken by anyone else while you are talking with your partners or making a purchase. Or you have come home in the evening and want to be sure that in the next morning you will go to work by the same car. For such cases, we have the stand-by mode.

How do I use it? You do not need to do anything: the stand-by mode is activated automatically as soon as you have switched off the engine! You have arrived at the office, parked and closed the car by using the “Close” function in the current booking window. That is all! The car will be waiting for you! During this time, a more profitable day or night stand-by mode tariff will be applied to the client.

Refilling is performed by the client by using a fuel card which can be found in the interior of each car. The client can refill the car at all Statoil petrol stations. The client shall refill the car only when the remaining fuel in the tank is less than 25%.

Attention! You can refill the cars only with the 95 petrol.

Attention! In accordance with the rules, the customers who have refilled the car will receive a 10% discount on the final invoice for the current rental.

To refill the car, you need to drive up the left side to the petrol pump, switch off the engine and open the tank from the interior. Step out of the car, open the tank and start refilling until it clicks. As soon as you hear the click indicating that the tank is full, close it, close the car by using the “Close” function in the current booking window and go to the operator to make the payment. Name the number of the petrol pump to the operator and give him the fuel card for payment. Open the car by using the “Open” function in the current rental window.

Attention! Reminder: the fuel card is the property of CARGURU and is bound to a specific car. This means that one fuel card can be used for paying only for one particular CARGURU car. Any attempts to refill another car will be stopped by petrol station workers and punished in accordance with the agreement and terms of use.

During the rental, the client may park the car at any place where it is permitted by road traffic regulations.

The rental price includes parking in all zones of the municipal car parks operated by RP SIA Rīgas Satiksme - zones A, B, C, D, R, V.

If the customer needs to temporarily park the car at another place, where a separate fee is charged for parking, the customer shall pay for such parking on his own.

To end the rental, please find a parking zone permitted by the CARGURU rules and park the car there. Switch off the engine and turn off the lights. Leave the key and the documents in the car. Make sure that you have not left your personal belongings inside and the car is clean and in good order. Get out of the car, close the door and click “End the trip” in the active booking window. The car will be locked.

To see zones where rental may be completed, please click on the "P" parking symbol in the application. The rental may only be completed at the parking lots located inside the territory painted green.

The payment is made at the end of each rental. The amount for the time of use of the car is automatically withdrawn from the payment card linked to your profile.

Before the start of rental, we kindly ask you to make sure that the car is in good order. If there are visible damages made to the body or interior of the car, be sure to let us know by calling the contact phone number or using the feedback feature in the mobile application!

To inform the company about the damage or need for a cleaning service, click the "Camera" symbol in the mobile application which is located at the bottom of the map.

Currently CARGURU users have 3 levels. The higher is the user level, the better conditions and better cars available. To reach the next level, you need to collect a certain number of bonuses. Bonuses are awarded at the end of each trip as a percentage of the amount actually paid for the trip.

First level users are awarded with 3% from payed amount. The second - 5%. The third - 7%.

To reach second level, you need to collect - 5 bonuses *. Third - 15 bonuses. *1 bonus = 1 euro.

Bonuses can be used to pay for trips or to accumulate to increase the level.

With bonuses users can pay up to 50% from the amount, sum can’t be less than 1 euro.

Bonuses become active 24 hours after charging. If bonuses are not used, then they burn after 45 days.

!!! For violations of the rules of use, bonuses and user level can be canceled. Conversely, for help in the CARGURU development the levels and bonuses can be added.

!!! At the moment the bonus system is available only for physical persons.

A physical person who has reached the age of 21, has a driving license of category B and driving experience for at least 2 years. Before using the service, the user must always make sure that the payment card, which is connected with the account, has enough funds to pay for the trip.

The rental price includes absolutely all costs associated with the maintenance of the car. It includes OCTA/CASCO insurance, regular MOT tests, taxes, parking on the streets of Riga (including the centre and the old town), petrol, maintenance, regular car wash, tyre replacement.

No. Travelling outside of Latvia is prohibited. Otherwise, you may be fined in accordance with the terms of use.

If you cannot open or close the car, please first check your Internet connection and your smartphone. If all of the aforementioned are in good order, please try to restart the application. If the application still functions improperly, please contact our operator by phoning +371 27332733.

When completing the rental, the client has to:
1) make sure that the car is parked at a place permitted by the CARGURU rules;
2) make sure that the car has no internal or external damage;
3) clean the interior of the car and throw out the rubbish;
4) make sure that the remaining fuel in the tank exceeds 25%;
5) make sure that no personal belongings are left in the car;
6) the documents and the car key are left in the car.

If the client has ended the rental in a place not permitted by the rules, he will be fined in accordance with the terms of use.

As soon as the tank has less than 25% of the fuel, the client has to refill the car, paying with the CIRCLE K fuel card. You will find the fuel card with the documents inside the car. The client who has refilled the car receives a 10% discount on the total amount of the current trip.

The cars can only be refilled at CIRCLE K petrol stations with the 95 petrol.

The client is obliged to pay all fines received during the use of the car by himself.

No. Smoking is strictly prohibited; otherwise, you may be fined in accordance with the terms of use.

Before starting the rental, always visually inspect the car. It must be in good order with no visible damages. If you have noticed some damages, please notify us by using the feedback feature (the camera symbol in the application) before opening the car.

If you have opened the car but its interior is very dirty and requires dry-cleaning, please notify us by calling the contact phone number or using the feedback feature in the mobile application (the camera symbol in the application) before proceeding the rental.

In the same manner, you can notify of the need to wash the car outside.

Liability for damages is borne by the last user of the car. In this regard, the fine will be imposed on you as the last user if you have not informed the company of visible damages or need for a cleaning service prior to the use of the car.

If the car is dirty, inform us about it and we will clean it.

If you have problems with the functionality of our mobile application, please first check your Internet connection and proper functionality of your Smartphone. If all the previous are in good order, try to restart the application. If the application still works improperly, contact our operator by phone +371 27332733.

The users self-risk for damage is 300 or 0 euros, depending on the selected rate. Regardless of when the incident happened, the self-risk must be paid, except when it is clear that the client is not guilty. Self-risk is also retained in case of a general fault. Self-risk for theft and robbery is 15% of the cost of the car. In case of complete destruction, the amount of the self-risk is 10% of the cost of the car.

The lease is allowed to be completed by parking the Vehicle in the Site in the RP LLC Rigas Satiksme municipal outdoor parking R, A, B, C zones, and other Sites, which are indicated in the Mobile Application and located inside the coloured in green territory.
